Add the hub to your home screen
A one-off setup, about five minutes. Afterwards the hub opens like any other app — its own icon, no address bar.
hub.delacontrol.com
iPhone or iPad
Use Safari, not Chrome. Apple only lets Safari install web apps. Chrome on an iPhone saves a shortcut that still opens inside Chrome.
- Open Safari and go to hub.delacontrol.com
- Sign in with Zoho using your @delacontrol.co.uk accountDo this first, so the app doesn't open on a login screen.
- Complete the device declaration if you're asked
- Tap the Share button in the bar at the bottomA square with an arrow pointing up out of it.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Leave the name as DelaControl and tap Add
Android
- Open Chrome and go to hub.delacontrol.com
- Sign in with Zoho and complete the device declaration if asked
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right
- Tap Install appSome phones say Add to home screen. Either is correct.
- Tap Install to confirm
Using Samsung Internet? Tap the menu, then Add page to → Home screen.
Windows PC or Mac
- Open hub.delacontrol.com in Chrome or Edge and sign in
- Click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address barA small monitor with a downward arrow.
- Click Install. It gets its own window and a taskbar icon.
What to expect
- You'll sign in once more. The first time you open the installed app it asks for Zoho again, even though you just signed in. Your phone keeps the app separate from the browser. It only happens once.
- You'll sign in most days. A sign-in lasts about eight hours, so expect to sign in at the start of a shift. That's deliberate — if a phone goes missing, nobody has an open session for long.
- You may be asked to declare again on a new device. A declaration covers the type of device you made it on, so a phone asks once even if you've already done it on a PC. It won't keep asking.
